Spring Football Starts Today!

This is what I do when I see UGA ads on Facebook:

Football

At 3:45 Georgia Tech’s spring football season officially begins.
Practices are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (in the morning). They’re OPEN to the public so all you have to do is walk over to Rose Bowl field and watch the Jackets as they begin preparation for a national championship.

Can’t make it to practice?

No worries, just checkout the North Avenue Bulletin’s practice report.
Should be done shortly after practice is over.

Don’t forget the Spring game

Note: Spring game time has been set to 1:00 PM

Campus HDRs Set Two

What Happened to Set One?

Earlier in the semester I went around campus taking HDR photos of mostly Bobby Dodd Stadium, Tech Tower, and the surrounding areas. That set is found here.

So What is Set Two About?

This time I started out at the North Avenue Apartments.

Then crossed the street to Smith for photos of my first on campus residence hall

I found all types of things to photograph on east campus

Like this rarely observed sign on the connector facing side of Perry Residence Hall.	Or the everyday view down the Techwood side walk.

Scattered throughout were these cool spray painted Buzzes

I haven’t been back to Brittain since probably my sophomore year.

The fourth floor of Harris gave me a good view of some of east campus landmarks.

The FE area had some other good street scenes:

Downtown Atlanta

Bobby Dodd Way

Pretty soon the sun set

But I still had some time to find some interesting things on East Campus

Moving on to Central campus:

The tranquility of spring break kept the reflection perfect

The CULC is coming along nicely

This building gave off a purple light that did strange things to my image

@TheBuzzFan figured it out first! It is the east side of Perry facing the interstate.

Second 2010 Snowstorm If you live in the United (50) States chances are you’ve seen some snow by now. The AP reports Hawaii as the only state without snow so far. Unless you live in downtown Atlanta, you probably haven’t seen the beautiful white powder as it covers Georgia Tech’s campus:
